The Association of Church Development Projects is a Non-Governmental-Organisation based in Tamale; Northern Ghana. The association was formed in 1977, it was then known as the Association of Church Projects and mainly dealt with agricultural projects.
 fighting poverty

However, the association soon expanded beyond the agricultural stations to include rural developments, such as water, health, nutrition projects and rehabilitation of the blind. In order to reflect the diverse nature of the network, the name of the association was changed in 1988 to the Association of Church Development Projects.

ACDEP's main objective is to further the development efforts of the individual churches. It is committed to bringing sustainable socio-economic developments to the poorer population in Ghana. This is exactly what Afrikanet is dedicated to doing; helping poorer populations catch up with the richer populations.

This is the reason why Afrikanet was delighted when ACDEP renewed their 12 months contract. Afrikanet will therefore provide high speed broadband internet to the association for a second year. Through this article, Afrikanet would like to thank its first contact at ACDEP; Mr. Franck Wobnyine in charge of the IT department. Furthermore, the renewal of the contract could not have been done without the hard work and dedication of Afrikanet's Cemac team in Douala-Cameroon. The whole process was directed by the Office Manager in Douala; Mr. Gabriel Buma.

This is why the whole of the Afrikanet UK board, would like to congratulate Mr. Buma and his team on this great achievement.

After such success with this association, Afrikanet is more committed than ever to work with other NGOs and connect people together with a fast and reliable internet connection.

Afrikanet, connecting people together!
